Long road, whats the truth??

Here we are, traveling the long road of drought, rain, family, homeschooling, organics, travel and a pile of other stuff that I do.. so what is the deal and how do I travel on the tightrope between sane and insane??

I didn’t realize that I had taken on a little too much over the years, but lately, I have discovered that there is such a thing as too many irons in the fire.

I hit this on my birthday on the 17th of Feb, I discovered that I was drained and suffering from anxiety attacks when the simple things like bills rolled through the door.

After years of drought and not getting any further ahead, I started to become distant and isolated myself from others.

This I know doesn’t sound like the bubbly, upbeat person that I usually am, but there it is.

Traveling throughout time with Stu hasn’t always been easy, let’s face it relationships are hard work. Yet, I can honestly say that we have NEVER had a sensible argument yet..

Why is that? Why haven’t we been able to argue over the same things other couples do?

I think this is because we can’t argue over something that isn’t possible to have and the only thing that we can argue about is the pair of dirty socks on the floor.

Now, I am back on the up and up and doing the best that I can to ignore the looming bills and dealing with the drought. All Stu and I can do is hope that our plants, bees, and family make it through to spring next year.

Everyone needs a little help and that is why organizations like Beyond Blue exist. These organizations help people battle the depression that can be caused by stress from these sorts of things.

I am hoping that everyone is doing well and I would love to hear your stories as well.

Love to all….

  1. Well said. Life is a tough journey at times and calling it out and recognising that people can’t always be on top of things and upbeat is an honest and good thing to do. We all labour under such a perception that everyone else is coping so much better than we are, and it’s wrong. Keep writing! ☺️
